The Exchange #22 Earthen Floors
On Monday, 21 September 2026, NTB hosted The Exchange #23 | Earthen Floors in Frome. This workshop featured Jeffrey Hart from The Earthen Floor Company who taught us about the potential uses and how to detail and specify earthen floors in our projects. Click the image to find out more.
Mary Bailey Youth Playground
After months of creativity, collaboration, and co-design, it’s fantastic to see the ideas of young people from Frome starting to take shape. Earlier this year, local young people worked alongside Super Roots CIC and Woodland Tribe to co-design the new play space. Now, Woodland Tribe has begun construction on site (week commencing 13 July) and great progress has already been made.
This week, the young people have been back on site, designing the graphics and painting the robinia posts that will form the central structure. It’s been brilliant to see them continuing to shape a space they’ve helped create from the very beginning.
We can’t wait to see the finished space!
