Frome Youth Playground | Co-design & Build
In March 2026, Neighbourhood Toolbox, in collaboration with Super Roots CIC and Woodland Tribe, delivered the final of three workshops with young people in Frome to co-design a new youth play area at Mary Bayliss Playing Fields. Building on earlier sessions, this workshop focused on developing design proposals in response to the group’s brief. Working in 3D, the young people generated imaginative ideas, using models to communicate their design intent and agree shared priorities for the play space. These proposals will now be refined for construction in early summer, with the young people playing an active role in building the space.
