The Exchange #21 Passivhaus Design

On Monday 22 June 2026, NTB will be hosting The Exchange #21: Passivhaus Design at the award-winning Dundon Passivhaus, Somerset.

We’ll begin the day with reflections from Graham Bizley (Prewett Bizley Architects), who will draw on lessons from Dundon and other Passivhaus projects to share insights into the realities of low-energy design in practice. Graham’s talk will then be followed by a guided tour of the award-winning Dundon Passivhaus — a rare opportunity to experience the building first-hand.

After lunch, Beth Williams (Momentum Engineering) will take us behind the scenes of structural engineering on Passivhaus projects, sharing how engineering decisions can influence everything from performance and buildability to the long-term success of a passivhaus building.
